Course: Available transmission capacity
About the online training programme
Available Transmission Capacity, or ATC, is a central concept in the efficient and secure operation of interconnected electricity systems. It represents the amount of cross-border transmission capacity that can be allocated to market participants for electricity trade without jeopardising grid security. TSOs are responsible for determining this value and making it available in a transparent and non-discriminatory manner.
