Adaptive thinking in a future full of complexity and uncertainty

In the rapidly changing markets, professionals must navigate uncertainty with agility and resilience. Our assessments evaluate adaptive thinking, problem-solving under pressure, and strategic decision-making.

By understanding how individuals process information and respond to challenges, organisations can cultivate a workforce that excels in complex, high-stakes environments.

Enhancing workforce performance through cognitive insight

The thinking patterns assessment process

At ENTRIMA, we offer a structured and insightful workforce assessment process designed to evaluate candidates’ thinking patterns, capabilities, reasoning skills, and psychological preferences. Our assessments are conducted digitally and followed by expert feedback via video conference, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.

Each test varies in duration, ranging from 40 to 90 minutes, and provides a deep analysis of an individual’s cognitive abilities, decision-making processes, and behavioural traits. Candidates complete their assessments remotely, after which our specialists review the results and provide feedback during a video call.

Optional handwritten report

A comprehensive handwritten report can be provided as an optional add-on, offering detailed insights and bespoke recommendations.

By identifying naturally dominant brain energy, the HBDI assessment provides actionable insights into a candidate’s suitability for a specific role, position, or task, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Capacities & Talent Indication Assessment

This is a scientifically validated assessment developed in collaboration with VU University Amsterdam and Noa. Designed to measure both academic abilities and extracurricular talents, this test provides deep insights into a candidate’s cognitive strengths across key areas:

  • Verbal Reasoning – Language proficiency & comprehension
  • Numerical Skills – Analytical & mathematical capability
  • Spatial Awareness – Visualisation & problem-solving ability
  • Processing Speed – Efficiency in decision-making & execution

By evaluating a candidate’s work and thinking level, the assessment identifies hidden talents and helps organisations make data-driven decisions for hiring, internal mobility, and leadership development. It provides insights into how individuals process information, ensuring that decisions are based on rational evaluation rather than subjective influences.

Unlike traditional assessments, this one provides a holistic view of personality traits that influence decision-making, leadership style, and team dynamics. This test evaluates 20 key personality dimensions, including conformity, altruism, perfectionism, perseverance, eagerness to learn, leadership, and stress resilience. By identifying these traits, organisations can determine a candidate’s suitability for leadership roles, assess cultural fit, and support professional development strategies. Ideal for businesses seeking to enhance team cohesion, leadership selection, and organisational culture, this assessment helps ensure that professionals align with company values and workplace expectations.

For teams

Thinking Patterns & Brain Energy Assessment for teams

Unlock valuable insights into your team’s cognitive processing and decision-making with the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI©). This scientifically backed tool helps analyse thinking patterns, both under stress and in preferred conditions, to optimise performance, enhance team dynamics, and improve communication. By identifying dominant brain energy types, the HBDI© provides actionable insights to align team members with roles that suit their natural thinking styles. It also fosters diversity-driven collaboration and supports groupthink strategies for more effective teamwork.

The HBDI© team profile provides clear insights into the team composition and dynamics. Opportunities and threats within the team are measurable, and any communication issues are immediately apparent. This makes it an ideal tool for assembling a team or group that collaborates optimally.

To create the team profile, all members must consent to have their data combined into a single overview. This profile can be used by HR and managers to assess the team.

The team profile consists of a 13-page overview without conclusions. Therefore, an explanatory video conference is mandatory and is included in the price.
