This 1-day course sets out the basics of energy transition, to move away from fossil fuels. The tutor will cover the fundamentals.

Attention is given to energy policy, how energy transition is being shaped, how carbon markets work and how these contribute to the energy transition, what emission trading schemes are and what these concern, as well as why power purchase agreements and attribute energy certificates are part of energy transition phase.

This course is suitable for any professional who wants to familiarise with the basics of energy transition and the related aspects of relevance. Hence, the course is targeted particularly at those who are considered starters/juniors in this field of expertise.
